Regis College Online Master of Health Administration Program
The Regis College School of Health Sciences offers an online master of health administration (MHA) degree. Courses are taught by health administration professionals who are active in their careers and have a solid grasp of the leadership and management requirements of their field. The program offers an in-depth study of the politics and policy behind health care costs and delivery.
Regis College is located in Weston, Massachusetts, just twelve miles from the heart of Boston. It is dedicated to social justice and a global perspective, promoting the objective of securing quality, affordable healthcare for all people. To advance a global perspective, Regis College welcomes international students and has developed programs such as the Regis College Haiti Project which is an advanced education and leadership program for nursing staff in Haiti. Additionally, students have the opportunity to participate in a Peru service trip over the school’s spring break.
The Regis MHA degree was designed for students from various work and academic backgrounds who want to advance their careers in or into the healthcare field. No healthcare experience is required. The curriculum examines health administration from three prongs: business, policy, and patients. Students learn to develop their strategic management style, critical thinking skills, professional interpersonal communication, organizational skills, emotional intelligence, and financial and accounting skills.
Graduates from this MHA program have gone on to careers in hospitals, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, home health organizations, primary care facilities, specialty care facilities, outpatient care, and other healthcare organizations.
